Welcome all Attac members!! Do you want to meet people from other cultures? Do you love traveling? Do you love helping other people? Then you have come to the right place!
| First the "official" statement: What is the Hospitality Club?
Our aim is to bring people together - hosts and guests, travelers and locals. Thousands of Hospitality Club members around the world help each other when they are traveling - be it with a roof for the night or a guided tour through town. Joining is free, takes just a minute and everyone is welcome. Members can look at each other's profiles, send messages and post comments about their experience on the website.
The club is supported by volunteers who believe in one idea: by bringing travelers in touch with people in the place they visit, and by giving "locals" a chance to meet people from other cultures we can increase intercultural understanding and strengthen the peace on our planet.
And now background information for Attac members: Dear fellow Attac members,
we are sometimes called people who are against globalization. We are not. We believe that another world is possible. And there will be globalization in that world. But a nicer kind. A more human globalization. This Hospitality Club is one step towards that human globalization. It is a network of people from all countries in the world who are interested in getting to know each other, eager to help each other. The interests behind every single act of hospitality may be diverse. The long term impact is clear: people learn to respect and understand each other. The world becomes more peaceful.
This is a globalization for the people and by the people. That's what this site is for. We are globalizing hospitality! Please join and become part of this network.
