Hi y'all,

sorry I have not been emailing a lot in the last few months. I probablywon't get much better at it...:-)

I finished my quarter as an exchange student at Georgia Tech in Atlanta last Friday. Came home to Germany on Tuesday morning. Now it's Saturday morning 3 am, in 3 hours my mom will drop me at the rest area in Goettingen and I will hitchhike back to Frankfurt to catch my plane inthe afternoon...going to Bangkok. Will be there for one hour only, then I am off to Sydney...:-)

I will spend 6 months in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand. I have todo yet another internship of 12 weeks for my university and I will tryto do that in Australia. If I get one right away, I'll be in Australiafor 3 or 4 months, if not, I might go on to N.Z. pretty soon. Around midAugust I will fly to Thailand and then spend some time there.

In mid September I have to be back in Europe to start my semester inBrussels...

I am pretty excited right now, I always wanted to go to these threecountries, and always said I would...:-) Now it's finally happening, andI can't wait to get there... I haven't had much time to contact many ofmy friends there, I'll just do that once I get there. Hey, and if youare in one of those countries, please drop me a line if you want me tostop by or have some tips for me...

Well, what else? The quarter in Atlanta was nice, I got to go back toHickory, North Carolina for the first time after I left it in 1995 afterspending my year as an exchange student there. I did one camp for AFS inNorth Carolina and another one for Georgia and Alabama. Went to NewOrleans for Mardi Gras for 5 days, that was a great trip. On the wayback I hitchhiked with a big big truck. The driver was a really niceblack guy, I played with his Playstation in the back, and even watched amovie in the truck...:-)

That's about all the news from me right now... Oh yeah, I found a greatwebpage for keeping in touch with other people: Youenter your personal information, and then link to other people and agreeto share information with them (so only they see your info). There aretons of groups for high schools, organizations, countries, everything.Itreally really is worth taking a minute to sign up for it... So if youwant to keep in touch with me, just look for me in the AFS, WHU, orGermany groups. You won't find me just by looking up my name...

Hey, I'd love to promise you lots of emails from the road, but I reallydon't have any idea where and when I will have access to the net in thenext 6 months. If you write me, your mail won't get lost, I will get itsooner or later. And during the internship I should be able to emailevery now and then... But please always use this address, no matterwhere I write from:

Allright, I wish you a great summer or winter (2 winters in a row for methis year...:-), hope to hear from some of you,

Have Fun,
