Traveling is one of my biggest hobbies, I am
probably addicted to it. I've spent a lot of time on the road,
away from Germany in the last few year. Had a lot of interesting
experiences, learned a lot, thought a lot. On this page you will
find a few things about my trips, but so far the little information
doesn't reflect the importance traveling really has in my life.
That's the way of traveling I choose quite often, check out my pages
This summer (2000) I will work in Germany until the end of July.
After that I want to travel around Southern Europe with Lucía
(maybe Spain, Italy, Greece). Generally, I would really like to
see more of Europe and Germany right now.
After graduating from Business School (April 2001), I will travel
around the world again for a year. Right now I am thinking about
two routes: I definitely want to see a lot of South America, maybe
do a route Venezuela-Colombia-Chile-Argentina-Brazil. Or maybe
start in the U.S. and travel through Central America to the South.
The second route I am thinking about leads from Europe through Turkey
and Iran to Asia. I definitely want to see India, and South
East Asia also still has some things to be discovered. On the way
back I am thinking of taking the Transsiberian Railway from
Beijing to Moscow.
If you have some Information or tips for those trips (or other
ideas), or would like to travel with me sometime, or want me
to stop by on one of my trips, please
send me a message.
Invite me or visit me!
Would you like me to visit you? Or would you like to stop
by in Germany? I am traveling all the time, I love meeting
new people and seeing new places. And I also love having visitors.
Whenever I get to a new place, I try to get in touch with
people that live there, friends, contacts, or members of
organizations I am active with (AFS, Mensa). It is a much more
authentic way of traveling than just dumping your body in a
hotel or hostel and doing the tourist program. So invitations
are always cool, maybe I even start planning a new trip, if I
get one from you...:-) So, please, fill in the form, and maybe
I'll be there sooner than you think...:-)
